It is a bit of a long standing joke in Cornish sea shanty circles that us Pirates of St. Piran are more of a rock band than a traditional sea shanty group....... just because we slip bits of Smoke on the water into traditional sea shanties and because I use a distortion pedal and screaming feedback on occasion.
As a result of our antics, things like this do pop up at venues where we are playing......... this one appeared in a shop window when we were performing at the international sea shanty festival in Falmouth, a couple of years ago.
