Cats

Since we lost our lovely cat Alice last week, our house has seemed very quiet and empty somehow. I have had at least one cat (usually two) for the past 50 years and this is the first time I have been without a feline in the house.

We think it only fair that we wait until Autumn before we go looking for a couple of new furry friends, as we have a very busy summer of gigging and will be away from home for extended periods until October time. We will then have more time at home to bond and get them settled into a routine.

But you never know, cats have a habit of just turning up when you least expect them

We lost our beautiful Aby, Merry in early March. We couldn't bear the quiet house and adopted two black teenage kittens. It was the best thing we could have done. I send you hugs, I know the pain you are feeling. Betsey
