Just back from the Brixham Pirate festival. 3 days of singing, drinking and carousing. I'm a little exhausted and have a croaky voice...... but I need to get myself sorted as I am playing in Truro this evening.
Each year pirates from all over the country (about 50,000 most years) descend on Brixham Harbour for a mighty rumbustification. We did two main stage slots on Saturday and Sunday, which went down really well with massed pirate hordes.
It is always a spectacular event, with great music and we get to meet with old friends and some of the most amazing like minded people, like these two lovely ladies.
This time next year, if you are in the area, you really ought to go, it is an experience like no other.
