Here in Cornwall, we are very fortunate to have many areas of ancient woodland. Secret hidden places you can wander, no paths, no litter, no people, just mother nature left to her own devices. Just the sound of birdsong and the sounds of small creatures rustling about in the undergrowth.
A great place to sit and ponder the mysteries of the universe and maybe commune with the tree spirits and fairy folk, if you are that way inclined. :)
However, I am sad to say, that year on year, more and more of these areas are being cleared to make way for housing developments. And the sad truth is that Cornwall doesn't need more houses, just fewer second homes.
Lovely capture, we love visiting Cornwall to see our daughter and her family, there are some great places to see I agree, especially those that are away from the crowds.
