Sometimes living in Cornwall makes me feel like a time traveller. I am so often presented with scenes and situations that make me feel like I'm living in the Victorian era. It really is the land that time forgot.
The fact I live in a house that dates back to 1846 and run a shop that was built in 1740, really doesn't help the situation.
I love the subjects you've been posting. Are you familiar with the Poldark story? There was a PBS series here in the state in the 1970's and there's a remake coming. It took place around Cornwall in the late 1700's. Great series.
@dmcoile Yes a lot of the new Poldark series was filmed in and around the area where I live. One of my friends is actually acting in it. We saw the first episode last weekend. It looks fabulous. :)
