I'm not a gardener...... I have a very nice man who does my gardens for me. (He is also a pirate and a pyrotechnics enthusiast who likes to blow things up). I keep expecting to come home and find a huge crater in the front garden where he has decided to relocate a badly placed shrub......... possibly to the moon.
I'm far more interested in what flowers look like than what they are called.
Maybe when I retire I'll start pottering about in the garden. Although I'm not entirely sure what pottering around involves. Lots of people seem to enjoy it immensely , so I may well be missing out on something here. Perhaps I'll have a look on Amazon for a beginners guide to pottering and check it out. Just in case it involves some form of drinkin' or carousin' or fornicatin' into the early hours of the morning. Us pirates enjoy such activities.
Sadly I fear it will more likely involve drinking tea, tending plants, pulling up weeds (like I can tell the difference) and lounging about in uncomfortable deckchairs.
Oooh believe me pottering involves a lot more than that!! and.....you can fit in all those other things you like to do......well, you can't go gardening in the dark, can you? :-) Because you do need to know I shall find out what this is..............
