It is a shame that Polruan is neglected as most tourists visit Fowey and just view Polruan from afar. Few venture onto the ferry and actually visit. Which is probably a good thing for the local residents. but not so good for the local pubs, shops and tea rooms.
It is an interesting scenic village for those intrepid enough to cross the estuary and have a bit of an exploration.
