Fellow 365 project contributor Anna Kucharska dropped into the shop on a flying visit yesterday and what a lovely lady she is. She brought me a fabulous gift.... a vintage Voightlander Vito CLR 35mm film camera that had been lurking in the bottom of her wardrobe for many years and she though I could make use of it. Thank you most kindly Anna, I love it and it is very much appreciated. I will put it to good use very soon. I will post the results on 365 for you to see.
It is a lovely piece of West German engineering and all working beautifully.
It was a day for film camera excitement yesterday as I also took delivery of another classic 35mm camera. This was a Zenit photosniper outfit which I have been looking for for ages and have finally found a good one at a reasonable price. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/158/408628039_36e03cbba6.jpg
Those who know me well will appreciate the huge amounts of joy these two cameras will bring me. And the vintage camera collection continues to grow..... I don't dare count them anymore as I'm still trying to convince myself that I am a vintage camera enthusiast and this is just an innocent hobby rather than an all consuming obsession. :)
I've gone for a mono day today just to remind me that now the summer tourist rush has subsided, it is time to get the film cameras out again and spend some time in the darkroom again.
Oh what lovely things! They'd all go really well in my shed! especially those boxes.....great vintage feel to this. How lovely to have a visit from a fellow 365er bearing gifts as well!
