careening by swillinbillyflynn

careening

At low tide, it is an opportunity for fishermen to scrape the barnacles and other oceanic detritus from the hulls of their boats. You would be amazed at how must that stuff can slow your boat down if you let it build up. This scraping process is called careening. It is also an opportunity for a lick of paint.

Another shot from my new (vintage) Konica -1 35mm film camera for analogapril-15
