Do not restart your life until Windows have been installed.
Several people have asked to see pictures of our new windows. So here you go..... We were quite upset to have to part with our original sash windows which were 170 years old. However they really had reached the end of the road and were becoming a nightmare to maintain. They were also costing us a fortune in heating as they were single glazed and the wind would whistle through the gaps in the frames. So we have had 12 replacement sash windows designed to look identical to the ones that came out (only double glazed and in natural wood finish). Not cheap but worth ever penny as we have retained the original Victorian look of the house and will probably save a fortune on our heating bills next winter.
We just need to wash, dust, polish every single thing in the house as there is a thick layer of dust all over everything and then put all the furniture back in the right places again.
