What a pretty spot - did the cove get it's title before the posh folk moved in or was it at their arrival that the locals called it that?

@judithdeacon I think the name comes from the golden age of Cornish smugglers and pirates. It was a nice discrete little cove for landing contraband out of sight of the Customs and \Excise men. :)
