There were several webs from this type of spider. He was so interesting because it looked like he had a shield on his back and a smiley face on it.

Gasteracantha cancriformis (the star spider, spiny-backed orbweaver, spiny orbweaver spider, crab-like orbweaver spider, crab-like spiny orbweaver spider, jewel spider, spiny-bellied orbweaver, jewel box spider or smiley face spider) I think I'll go with the smiley face spider since that's what I thought the first time I saw him up close.
