Here's my little Cardinal friend. He likes to come around at dawn or dusk, when the lighting is best - not!
After breakfast while I'm cleaning up, I can usually hear his telltale churp and start looking for him. I have a window over my sink that faces the deck. If it's not open, then the process of opening it scares him away. So, in 40 degree temps, I leave my window open just in case he comes back and I can grab a shot. And so far, this is the best I can get - through table and chair legs! I have seen him on the feeder once before, so I'm hoping that I'll be in the right place at the right time.
Thankful Day 5:
I'm thankful that we have antibiotics so that after 3 doses for an ear infection, my son Ryan is feeling almost normal.
