My first tomato of the season. It took forever to get red, but I patiently waited. I picked it and ate it in a sandwich the same day - my favorite during the summer. The water is from all of the rain that we've been getting over the last several days. SOOC
Good looking tomato - mine are that size, but totally green. I've had several of the cherry tomatoes already, but the sandwich ones aren't ready. Nothing better than a tomato sandwich in summer.
Lovely shot Tara, great looking tomato. Always reminds me of really hot summers where I grew up here in Oz. My Grandma always had a garden full of tasty tomatoes :)
@darylo I would totally share if I had more than 1! Ha ha - This is just a cheapo plant that I bought at Sam's. When I bought it, it had 2 tomatoes (one of which you see here). It also had tons of blooms so it appeared to have lots of potential. Anyway, no more blooms and the 2nd tomato appears to be the same size as it was a month ago . . . fail!
