Whew - we have been super busy with birthdays, graduation, taking care of my Dad . . . but we made it. Our oldest son graduated on May 23rd and we're so proud.
I've put an alternate shot of my Dad and Christian. I am SO thankful that Dad has improved to the point where he was able to make it to the ceremony. He just switched from a wheelchair to a walker. I'm so thankful and blessed.
This is a GREAT family pic of all of you, Tara! I love it. I was so glad to see your sweet dad got to be there! That is wonderful. The afternoon Erin graduated, we shot a roll of film, and then I was driving her to get it developed. We passed her softball fields where she played when she was about 9 or 10. Mom came once, and we all met there to watch Erin play. As we were driving by last week, the Judy Collins song "Who Knows Where the Time Goes" came on, and I just about lost it and cried. But did not want to make Erin feel bad. So I just kept it together. I wish she could have been there to be with Erin too. Of course, I realized later, she would have been mad at me again...because Erin went NUTS over that camera I gave her, and then we went out shooting pics...that was the kind of thing that hurt mom's feelings so much the last few years. Anyway, glad your dad was there to see Christian graduate!
