I was getting ready for Bible study on Friday and I kept 'hearing' take your camera. Since I'm easily distracted, I had to be told right up until I was walking out the door, so I went back and picked up my backpack, loaded up and headed out. I was halfway up my driveway when I saw them - 2 hawks right in my cul-de-sac! I couldn't believe it. So, I whipped out my camera and started firing away. One of them is way in the shadows, but at first, I thought he was black and was wondering what he was?! As I got closer, I realized it was just a shadow and they were both Red-Shouldered Hawks. This is a shot of both of them searching for their prey.
