We'll put this one in the happy accident category. I was experimenting with the night portrait mode of my camera, trying a self portrait. The camera was having some trouble with auto focus, so I used the light on my phone to illuminate me so that it could focus. My intention was to switch over to manual focus after it had a fix on me. I didn't realize that the shutter was open this whole time. I thought the end result was kind of fun, so that's the image I chose to post.
Since we appear to have the same camera, my challenge for you is to explore the Creative Filter, specifically the miniature camera filter to its best utilization. .
@lynbonn I like the challenge. One of my goals has been to explore every setting on my camera. I'm not 100% sure that I understand what the Creative Filter is. I have a Creative Auto setting on the mode dial. I've used that in the past when I wanted an automatic setting, but wanted to control whether the flash was on or off. I just looked at it, and there are a bunch of ambiance settings and a background blur setting. I don't know what the miniature camera filter is. Our cameras are not exactly the same. My model number does not have an i after it. T6 versus T6i. If you can help me find the miniature camera filter, I'll give it a shot.
So neat when experimentation yields happy surprises!
