April, I really enjoyed your challenge. It's quite difficult to get enough light on the blur without it getting washed out by the long exposure. Here I used an external light to illuminate the trail, having the car move into a darker part of the scene. It worked pretty well. I think having empty, dark space as a background would have worked best. @aecasey
