Downtown Covid-19

My get-pushed partner challenged me to try B&W street photography. Here, I wanted to emphasize the impact of the pandemic. The two people approaching are wearing masks, and the nearby storefront is empty. The shop on the other side of Vanderhoof's Hardware is empty also, although you can't tell that from the photograph.

Caroline, here's a response to your challenge. I'm always a little uncomfortable with street photography, but pushing my out of my comfort zone is what get-pushed is for.

Familiar sight indeed - same here with the empty shops. I am the same as you, not quite comfortable with street photography.
