My get-pushed partner challenged me to try a landscape photo with a very narrow depth of field. My first reaction was, "That's the opposite of what a landscape photo wants." It turns out that it is very difficult to get a shallow DOF in a landscape photo. I took a bunch at f/3.5, a wide open as I can get my lens. It still looks like a normal landscape.
@stephomy Thanks for the challenge. This didn't turn out at all like I expected. I focused on the barn. Sure, the foreground focus is soft, but it isn't too dramatic. It was an interesting exercise.
