I picked these chillies this morning from the vegie patch...here they are sitting in Nathan's frisbee...these little fella's are only about 4" long but have quite a kick so I use only half of one in a johnno dish...was also feeling a little silly and included the fire extinguisher as a prop ...any way I have packed these away in the caravan as it"s time tor me and Annette to leave tomorrow morning on a round trip of about 12000 km. to Cairns in far north Queensland to spend a month with Jacki my no. 1 daughter and family....we will be away for about 5 months with no set plan or schedule...hope to continue a picture each day as long as i can get internet cover....will post a waving goodbye shot in the morning....cheers john
Love homegrown chillies. We had so many last year i made 2 pots of 'Evil Chilli Chutney' which is pure chillies, hubby has also found it gets hotter with age!! How do you preserve your chillies? I freeze mine whole then take out 1 or 2 as needed and snip them into the cooking dish that way i don't have to touch them. Nice shot.
A picture tells a thousand stories as does yours, of humour & diligence rewarded with an abundance of tasty bounty. Love the wonderful contrasting colours.
"Hot" picture! Great fun and color! Enjoy your travels and hope you are able to "connect"! Will be fun to see posts from your trip!! We'll be heading out again in November.
