this spot is about 12km west of Echuca and right on the Murray River...the campfire thingy is called a "choofa"and I made it from a 9kg LPG cylender...just sit the wok or frying pan on top and cook...glass of wine in the hand is optional...
Would like to thank everyone for your comments etc. over the last few days and will get back to you all as soon as possible....cheers john
@golder365mjsmith ...hi Michael....yes a nice spot for a few days...we have a bit of rain and the solar panels on the caravan roof are struggling to keep up with my power use....google earth is great ...cheers
@terryliv ...camped by a billabong.....well the murray actually...raining here poppo and my solar panels are struggling to keep up....but alls well otherwise....cheers
@tellefella Life's a bitch isn't it? I am pretty busy at present and am way behind in my comments and it is about to get worse. We drive down to Sydney on Saturday to see the new grand daughter and I have a million things to do before we leave. So even if I don't comment over the next few days, I will still be looking and appreciating.
@terryliv ...thanks mate..i"m in the same boat....when your off your home turf things are a little bit more difficult to organise...but we get there eventually....see ya
Looks like a great spot to camp - love the washing hanging off the bike handle bar! A lovely caravan - clever you making a choofa to cook on. 10 seconds goes quickly when you are racing to get the right 'pose' .
Great camping shot! Makes me want to hit the road again! Love it! Now I see where you are camping. Enjoy...this is what we do all winter as well...spend as much time outside around the fire with a glass of wine!!
