Well I'll be . . . . . I thought you must have been having a senior's moment there John so I Googled it and sure enough, there is a Rattlesnake Island off the coast near Magnetic Island. Which begs the question, Why is it called Rattlesnake Island.

@terryliv ...hi Poppo...yes i couldnt believe the name either but it's true....got up early for this shot and found the name on google earth...we are camped opposite about 40 k's north of townsville...cheers mate....
Btw..You know what is cool about the fact that just four of us now tag for EOINA? You can hit that tag, and easily find your photos for the whole year. Cause it is just me, you, Sophia, and MB left tagging them this way. I think. That is sort of cool. And we are halfway to our goal! Yay!
