Sheralee, they did not stitch it as they said that they tend to fall out easily and it is a hard area to stay stitched with all the tongue movement and moistness. It has indeed started to heal nicely. I'm surprised how quickly actually! Looked gross though at the time!
Ouch! That looks about like my son's ear did when he fell on some bleachers at a football game last year. Nine stitches later and they charged us $2500! Thank goodness for insurance!
