Distant Kata Tjuta

I grew up with these things called "the Olgas" and in my mind that's what they will always be. Kata Tjuta is a grouping of massive rocks not far from Uluru (Ayers Rock). There are some beautiful walks into gorges between the rocks and this place holds special significance to the local indigenous people. The rock formations take on different colours at sunrise/sunset like Uluru does.

Yeah, they're still the Olgas to me too Terrie. Love this image and all the strong colours. You must've been in this part of the world just a month or so earlier than we were.
