And that's a year

It has been a fun photo a day project, however I feel that I have really been "phoning it in" recently, and to be honest a photo a day is a lot of work.

I think I am going to keep on with a year 2, but probably drop back to 2-3 shots a week... More of grow with a good shot a week project.
Congrats on your first year! Wonderful color, image!

A stunning shot to cap off your 1st year! What lens did you use for this? I'm glad you're staying - I enjoy your images. It's always good to do what works best for you and helps you grow.

@365karly1 I used a Tokina 100mm macro for this. I Highly suggest the tokina 100mm macro and the 11-20 for wide angle. They both outperform lenses that cost 100s more.

I have really liked your images as well, you have had lots of amazing photos this last year that inspired me to do better.

I think that i just need to get out of my rut, settle into my new job, and learn how to find beauty in the sagebrush sea/ wheat land.

Yup, I know what you mean. I meant to stop after two years also, and I think that I am on year 4 or 5 now....I sometimes take whole months off to take breaks, but I love it here too much to stop!

@teriyakih Thanks for the info on the Tokina. I will keep that in mind when I have the extra moolah saved. I love macros and would love to do more with a good lens.
