Bird photos are a huge challenge for me, no, to be frank, I stink at it. My zoom lens let's me down every time (I blame the lens, not the operator) But this crow took pity on me and came close enough for me to capture him. I think he looks regal the way he is sitting there and the turn of his head.
dignified captures his pose so aptly. I really struggle with capturing birds - to be honest I struggle for my lens to find them in the first place, but they say practice makes perfect so I keep trying.
@helenhall Yeah, at one time I thought I should just concentrate on other topics, but that sounded like defeatism, so I shall practice on the gulls that are in abundance around here, and be ready for that exceptional aviary photograph!
