This is my mother, but not my mother. She was always the prettiest mommy I thought as a little girl. Very accomplished: two Master's Degrees, moved herself and car and furnishings to a foreign country to join my father and made a life there, always coming back to the U.S. once a year so my brother and I would know our relatives. She now doesn't know who I am, but she's content with her worn out Guidepost and is in relatively good health and no pain. It's my pleasure to have her in my home now.
@carole_sandford Thanks Carol, for your visit and very nice comments. @momamo Very nice of you to say, Monique @kvphoto Very sweet sentiments, KV (wish I knew what your initials stood for, I think there's a story there) it feels good to give back.

A difficult narrative to share, a lovely portrait to put with past ones of prettiest mom of your childhood.
Look after you as you care for Mom. X
@30pics4jackiesdiamond This stage of life is a little sad, but yet these are precious times. Thank you for your visit.
