A very nice tribute to Blue Whales on this sail boat. Popped out to our marina to check on our sailboat and will be spending the night tonight, our first for the season! Shrimping season has opened and tomorrow is a designated day to catch the yummy little creatures. People come from all over to our marina to head out for the 4 hours they are allowed to set traps and then recover them. Makes for an active morning with plenty of entertainment. No, we don't go for catching them....my hubby is a "meat and potato" guy.
Sounds like an interesting event to witness. Nice shot- is the whale there for decoration or does it also have a practical side in that you can tie a rope around it? Nice and sharp too!
