Prime 50 lens is a fixed focal of 50 mm for normal cameras? I am asking because I still ruminate over buying the equivalent for my 4/3 camera. It is not very cheap (yet not a fortune), and I do have that focal length on my zoom kit lens. But on the other hand, the fixed one comes with a big aperture. And I am so unable to decide.
Right, it is not a zoom with a variety of mm. THey do have larger openings and that’s how you get the lovely bokeh backgrounds. People promote primes because they make you move closer to the subject and move around to get the shot, vs. using your lens to get close. Makes you work, you “get into” the process.
@kjarn @koalagardens @wakelys @helenhall @milestonevisualmedia Thanks all! So glad you like it as much as I did.
