I married in to a family of bee keepers. That was both a blessing and a curse. The blessing was lots of fresh honey in many varieties...delicious. The curse was being asked to "help" move bees to an apple orchard for pollination...and getting stung multiple times!
Great back story Gary. My dad was into bee keeping years ago. I can remember the process involved in extracting the honey from the combs, cutting off the caps with a large heated knife and inserting them into a very large type whirling machine. It was a big process and a very very difficult job to keep the bees out of the house when we were doing this.
