Came home early to drive north to visit my mother. Alas the weather is getting stormy there, so decided to postpone that trip. Torrential rains here! Caught this delivery truck out making Christmas deliveries (it is only 2:30 p.m. but looks much later due to clouds and rain!)
That little brown truck sure covers lots of territory! Was just listening to the news tonight where they were saying that between UPS, USPS, and FedEx they would deliver 50,000 packages on Christmas Eve. Yikes! Lots of people ship late. Like this shot in the rain. Hope that stuff is past you now!
@milaniet It does amaze me how many packages can be delivered...we know the driver of this truck and he is working 12 - 14 hours each day and having to "reload" his truck twice each day. It is looking forward to the New Year!
great idea for a certainly timely photo! We have a UPS driver who does an amazing job also and always cheerful too. (and yup its raining in Michigan too)
