This comes to munch on the grass in our front field every evening before sundown. They are part of a herd of at least 8 that often forage just outside our front gate, not more than 100 feet from our home. These saw me and ran into the shadows but stayed so still for this shot. Still working on long distance shots in dim light. Welcome suggestions!
How lucky you are to have them out your front window! Have you tried taking the Shadows slider in Lightroom all the way to the right - or whatever is needed?
Nice capture, how lucky to see these so close to your home. Tripod and up your iso so you let more light into your shot. Try 800 or 1600 after that it becomes very grainy but sometimes the trade off is worth it.
