"Hearts-a-burstin'"...

Aka...Euonymus Americanus, "Bursting Heart" or "Strawberry Bush".
My son found these but wanted me to photograph them. The bloom to the right is nearly opening and the one on the left is more fully open. They do grow in a bush form. This is my first time seeing one.

These are cool little berries. I saw them for the first time back in 2013 while walking on our local greenway. Such an interesting spot of color.
