I had a lovely day on Mermaid Beach in Folkestone with my daughters and my grandsons. This is my eldest grandson; I love his stance with his hands clasped behind his back and just being there....
I had a swim in the sea along with some other beachgoers! After a fish and chips lunch, it turned very windy and sadly it was time to go.
