I watched this little lady fall off the tree, saw her lying there next to her already wilted sisters and was saddened that it will be one of the last flowers of the season. Had to get a shot of her!
The kids and I went to a local botanical garden to kill time while Daddy worked a bit this morning. It helped that there is an awesome playground there to keep the kids entertained after our walk through the garden.
Your little flower sure does pop nicely against all the darks. As much as I love winter it's a little sad to see this lovely summer weather come to an end.
