We got our son a cactus yesterday on an impromptu trip to a nursery. We thought it may be a good way to teach him to care for another living thing. I am sure I will do most of the caring for it, for which I say, good luck cactus and sorry in advance! I hope I keep it alive. I will make sure to keep the care instructions with it to ensure constant reminders. :)
Nice idea and a cute little cactus too! At least you can forget to water them for days and they'll still be alive ;) My kids love to water our indoor plants, but they forget as often as they remember.
I love the high-key shot. Works very well. A cactus shouldn't be too hard to care for, right? That being said, I remember buying some cacti two years ago when I started this project. They are not with me today, and I cannot recall what happened to them.
