"N" is for Nature

This week's theme was nature. Strangely enough, Mother Nature made it difficult for us to have a nature week! The constant hard rain made it difficult to get outside and enjoy nature, so we had to improvise. We did an art project about how plants grow, sang songs about it, took a trip to the library and read books about parts of plants, planted our own pea and sunflower seeds, did a science experiment with a white flower and red food coloring, went on a nature hunt and made letter/word crafts with what we found, had a nature craft playdate, and topped off the week with a visit to a nature center where we had story time, a craft, and played with friends. Another great week of having fun while learning!
what a great way to entertain you little ones. sweet collage.
