"So what?", you may be thinking. Well, I was completely unprepared. First off, I didn't think it would rain hard ALL DAY (this is Idaho, after all), and at this school, they go outside no matter what. Secondly, their rain boots don't fit anymore and I haven't gotten around to getting new ones. Thirdly, rain boots would not have been enough...most kids had full on rain suits (which I didn't even know was a "thing" until today). Fourth, a good portion of their playground is dirt, which obviously becomes mud when it rains. Last but not least, this girl can't resist a puddle to jump in. Needless to say, I had laundry to do when we got home.
