We went to a cat shelter today to get some kitty snuggles in. This facility is amazing, with over a dozen rooms, each a cat paradise for 2 to 4 cats. It's a no-kill shelter, where every cat ends up finding a home. While we were there, at least two were adopted. The kids got to bring books into the rooms to read, play, and snuggle them. It is the closest we can get to them, since we have too many cat allergies in the family. We look forward to going back during "kitten season".
