Election Day, and I really wanted to get away from all the "noise" (I turned in my ballot weeks ago). The kids were also off of school, so we packed up the dog, ourselves, and lunch to explore and hike, looking for cool rock formations. It was a nice escape, but it turns out, you can't escape reality forever.
