Nothing we wanted to do or accomplish today really worked out, but we tried. I took the kids to the park after school...I picked this park specifically because I had photographed their beautiful tulip garden before. I was too late...they were already wilted except these few. We were going to fly a kite, but there wasn't any wind. The kids just weren't into playing so we went home to plant some sunflowers and chocolate flowers. That didn't really go as planned either. I guess it's just one of those days. Either way, Earth Day has meant a lot to me ever since I was a kid, and I really try to make every day Earth Day anyway.
