Clifford's Tower, York by tomdoel

Clifford's Tower, York

The largest remaining part of York Castle, Clifford's Tower was built in the 13th century on the motte of the old keep, and was probably used as a treasury and prison.
Very striking composition here - and the colors are incredible.
