I really like this too but I was going to say If it were me I would have gone closer, so the petals of the flower really fill the frame, either that or I would crop it square.
I never gave a reason why... The interesting part to me is the centre where the petals are opening up. Also you don't need to tell the whole story, leaving some out can be interesting to the viewer. It gives there brain something to think about.
