@virtualbrownie Thank you very much V, the tree is covered in it and yet it still crops every year, they are large apples and can be used for eating and cooking, my wife likes them for cooking.
Tony, I tried photographing some lichen today too, but didn't get it to work quite right. I opted for my moss photo instead. You've taken an excellent lichen photo.
