Flowering Currant

Just been cutting a bush down that's grown big at the back of my workshop and found this Flowering Currant coming into bloom.

Beautiful and so early -- I severely pruned mine last year and it will be some time before it will flower I think !

@beryl If you pruned to above a leaf Beryl it should flower. I cut mine every year to about shoulder or waist hight.
