This little candle, nearing it's end of life has contributed to many enjoyable evenings. Sometimes by itself, sometimes coupled with a glass of wine, baguette, cheese and music, its soft light has always added an element of romance. Thank You for your soft flickering light and shadows. (Used macro lens concentrating on the interface of wick and flame.)
Brilliant macro shot Tom, and your description really conjured up beautiful scenes. Candle is the word for the day, and I was thinking of doing something like this - but it was too good a day to stay inside!
