In southwest Minneapolis there is a beautiful biking, hiking, walking, lazing corridor called the Kenilworth Trail. Along this trail is a Prairie/woodland restoration project. The photo above shows some of the restored prairie grass.
This lovely trail might become the home of a light rail project of 220 trains a day. I hope to do a few more photos of this trail in the coming days. We do need light rail, but the city also needs these tranquil corridors for the soul.
