The Oak Tree and The Deck by tosee

The Oak Tree and The Deck

The old Oak tree
in the backyard,
it's branches spreading wide,
with Summer green shade,
cooling,
the deck below.

Then in Autumn green leaves
change,
to golden brown with
reddish hues:
with brown acorns falling on the deck.

Preparing, in the rain
to deposit a protective,
cover;
So the deck,
will be
warm in the winter.
Awesome Tom!! Picture and Poetry!!!

@earthbeone Had good feeling, and the rain was lovely, and somehow I think it is true if one looks for beauty.

A very clever shot, with the sharp focus on the one leaf. Lovely poem too.

@fauxtography365 Thank you Ms. T It was a beautiful light rain and I was feeling love; so willing to risk a little ode to the oak tree and deck, rather then bemoan; it changed my whole perspective

@dolphin Thank You Molly It was a quick shot, did not want to get camera wet, yet I wanted to express the joy I was feeling so thought I would try a little verse. Usually very shy about that (ego fear).
