Said Henny Penny! No the sky is not falling but it did seem a tad low and heavy. It was a somewhat warm day, and my friend, who loves to drive on the ice convinced me we should be out on the ice. Kaboom rattle bang as we drove down an impossible ramp onto the ice. Shirver my timbers, " I thought" as i griped the door handle for physical and moral support. Over to the " largest ice fishing village" we went, bumpidy rattle Ka-BOON, " did you hear that?" "Hmmm yessss yes" I stammered! She smiled and said "Oh that is the ice making it's winter song!" Really! We got out our chairs and the beers, but Oh no..no bottle opener. She calmly took my beer and went off in search of a bottle opener as I cradled my camera.
She has adventure and spirit in her soul, maybe, just maybe some of it will rub off onto me!
